2022 Itinerary

The itinerary for the 2022 Interclub Bay Cruise has now been announced and we’ll be visiting these fabulous destinations.

DAY 1: Saturday 17 September

Our first day will start off at Southport Yacht Club’s South Stradbroke Island venue, Dux. Relax and let the kids run around on the expansive green lawn, lounge around the fire pit, or party on at the picnic tables.

More info to come on the planned activities soon.

DAY 2: Sunday 18 September

Today’s destination is just a little further south at the ever popular B.O.A.T. Club at their facility known as Boathaven. Watch the sunset overlooking the sandy beach or catch up with friends at the well-appointed undercover area.

More info to come on the planned activities soon.

DAY 3: Monday 19 September

Get ready for a morning of cruising to our southern-most venue. Our anchorage is an idyllic sandy lagoon tucked in behind the Gold Coast Seaway called The Stadium (or Bum’s Bay as it’s also known). Our evening’s function will be held at VMR Southport.

More info to come on the planned activities soon.

DAY 4: Tuesday 20 September

Today we’re headed north up the Coomera River to Sanctuary Cove Marina. Enjoy the shopping and restaurants in the Marine Village, stock up on any provisions, refuel the boat at the fuel dock, and make the most of being able to easily socialise with other Cruisers in the Marina.

More info to come on the planned activities soon.

DAY 5: Wednesday 21 September

Today we head back to South Stradbroke Island to beautiful Tipplers Passage. Grab a coffee or a bite to eat at Tipplers Licensed Café, take a walk across the island to the surf side, or just sit back on your boat and enjoy the scenery.

More info to come on the planned activities soon.

DAY 6: Thursday 22 September

Another morning of cruising north to Royal Queensland Yacht Club’s island venue at Canaipa. There is a large grassed area, a pool to enjoy, and then gather around the campfire in the evening to share some tall tales.

More info to come on the planned activities soon.

DAY 7: Friday 23 September

Today you can jump on one of the ’bigger boats’ to visit Little Ship Club on North Stradbroke Island for lunch. We then head back to Canaipa to get ready for our final night and a big party to celebrate our wonderful week on the water.

More info to come on the planned activities soon.

DAY 8: Saturday 24 September

It’s time to farewell friends old and new, pencil in future rendezvous, and plan to meet again at the reunion lunch in a couple of month’s time as this year’s Cruise draws to a close for another year.

You can lift the hook and head for home or, for those lucky enough, continue on with their holiday itinerary until those pesky land-based obligations call.
