The theme of the 2016 Interclub Bay Cruise is inspired by the recently held Rio Olympics Games. Each day of the cruise has an Olympic country chosen as its theme. There will be three “dress up” nights but if you want to get into the cruise spirit, you are welcome to dress up every night if you wish! For details on the events for each day and night, see our “What’s On” guide below.

DAY 1: Saturday 17 September

After signing on to the cruise at 2:00pm, cruisers can enjoy the view from the deck at the Moreton Bay Trailer Boat Club with a beverage or two. Our little cruisers can enjoy the park on the Manly Esplanade. After dinner, the party will be begin with “Saturday Night Samba” hosted by DJ Antonio Prangerio. Bring your dancing shoes and enjoy the sounds and sights of Brasil!

DAY 2: Sunday 18 September

At 1pm the activities for kids (and bigs kids) kick off with the first instalment of the Cruise Olympics. Join the fun of the Seamanship competition (bailing anchor and navigation activities), silly golf, tug of war and a rope tying session.
Sunday night entertainment will the club’s resident band “Straddie Various”.
Little Ship Club is a licensed venue.

DAY 3: Monday 19 September

After a stopover at Horseshoe Bay, the fleet will make its way down to RQYS Canaipa. Monday night is our first dress up night with a Mexican theme. Come with your best Sombrero or Crazy hat and live la vida loca! Tonight’s activity will be a race meet and check out your sign on bags for details.

DAY 4: Tuesday 20 September

On Tuesday, the cruise will be going to the South Island. Ok, it’s South Stradbroke but you get the idea. The day will be “sweet as bro” with plenty of free time to soak up the Tipplers passage atmosphere. Come onshore to the MBTBC Haven at night for a BYO BBQ. Gas BBQ are available but please bring $1 coins. Also, bring your musical instruments ashore for our traditional campfire sing-a-long and enjoy the “Slice of Heaven” that is South Stradbroke Island.

DAY 5: Wednesday 21st September

After dropping anchoring in the Coomera River, come ashore and enjoy the Galley bar and restaurant at Boatworks. After a very successful first run in 2015, we will see a return of the cruise’s own “Lip Sync Battle”. Join a team, pick a song and dance your heart out!

DAY 6: Thursday 22 September

Couran Cove Island Resort has a host of activities for cruiser to enjoy. With pools, bars, dining and plenty of things to do, it will be the day to let your hair down and enjoy South Stradbroke at it’s finest. Our gala dinner is an “Out of Africa” theme and is our second dress up night. Go wild with your best African inspired outfit. Tonight’s activity is our popular trivia contest featuring the draws of our Treasure Chest raffles in between rounds.

DAY 7: Friday 23 September

Celebrate everything Australian today. Our famous talent quest will give cruisers young and old the opportunity to strut their stuff and will bring lots of smiles to the cruisers on the final night. This our last dress up night and come dressed in your best Aussie outfit.

DAY 8: Saturday 24 September

After a full week of cruising, it is time to say farewell. Some will head home to ports afar and others will stay in Tipplers Passage to enjoy the weekend. The choice is yours! The only thing left to do to starting counting down the sleeps to the 2017 Interclub Bay Cruise!
